We are seeking a detail-oriented Testing professional to join our team and support quality assurance, validation, and continuous improvement efforts. The successful candidate will plan, execute, and document testing activities to help ensure that products, systems, and processes meet defined requirements, performance standards, and user expectations.

Primary responsibilities include developing test plans and test cases, performing manual and automated testing, documenting results, identifying defects, and verifying corrective actions. The role requires effective collaboration with engineering, product, operations, and other stakeholders to clarify requirements, reproduce issues, prioritize findings, and support successful releases.

Key duties:

• Review business, functional, and technical requirements to identify testing needs, risks, and acceptance criteria.

• Design, document, and maintain test plans, test cases, test scenarios, and test data for new and existing functionality.

• Perform functional, regression, integration, system, usability, and exploratory testing across applicable environments and platforms.

• Execute manual and automated test cases and accurately document testing results, evidence, and observations.

• Report, triage, and track defects using issue-tracking systems; provide clear reproduction steps and supporting details.

• Verify defect fixes and perform regression testing to confirm that changes do not introduce additional issues.

• Collaborate with developers, product managers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to improve product quality and testability.

• Participate in sprint planning, backlog refinement, stand-ups, retrospectives, release planning, and other Agile ceremonies.

• Support test environment preparation, test data management, and release readiness activities.

• Contribute to improvements in testing processes, documentation, standards, and quality assurance best practices.

Qualifications

Required:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.

• Experience in software testing, quality assurance, systems testing, or a related discipline.

• Knowledge of software development life cycle processes and Agile testing methodologies.

• Experience creating and executing test cases, test plans, and test scenarios.

• Familiarity with issue-tracking and test management tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, TestRail, or comparable platforms.

• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills.

• Ability to manage multiple testing activities, prioritize work, and meet release deadlines.

Preferred:

• Experience with automated testing tools or frameworks such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Appium, or similar technologies.

• Knowledge of scripting or programming languages such as Python, JavaScript, Java, or C#.

• Experience testing application programming interfaces using tools such as Postman, SoapUI, or REST-assured.

• Familiarity with SQL, databases, log analysis, and troubleshooting across integrated systems.

• Experience with continuous integration and continuous delivery pipelines and automated test execution.

• Relevant quality assurance certification, such as ISTQB, is a plus.
