We are seeking a detail-oriented Test professional to join our team and contribute to quality assurance and continuous improvement efforts. The successful candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, execute, and document testing activities that ensure our products meet defined requirements and user expectations.

Primary responsibilities include developing test cases and test plans based on specifications, executing manual and automated tests, logging and tracking defects, and verifying fixes. The role requires clear communication with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to reproduce issues, prioritize bugs, and support release readiness.

Key duties:

• Design, document, and maintain test plans, test cases, and test data for new and existing features.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, and exploratory testing across web and/or mobile platforms.
• Execute automated test scripts and contribute to the development and maintenance of automated test suites.
• Report, triage, and track defects using the company’s issue-tracking system; verify fixes and perform regression verification.
• Collaborate with engineering and product teams to clarify requirements, provide testing estimates, and improve testability.
• Participate in sprint planning, retrospectives, and other agile ceremonies to provide testing input and feedback.
• Assist in establishing and improving QA processes, guidelines, and best practices.

Qualifications

Required:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent experience.
• Proven experience in software testing or quality assurance roles.
• Familiarity with test case management and issue-tracking tools (e.g., Jira, TestRail).
• Understanding of software development life cycle and agile methodologies.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.

Preferred:

• Experience with automated testing tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Appium).
• Knowledge of scripting or programming languages (e.g., Python, JavaScript, Java).
• Experience testing APIs and using tools such as Postman or REST-assured.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated test integration.
